Clinton residents are against the proposed power lines


Official are planning on expanding and strengthening high voltage power lines to increase the amount of power to flow across state.

Greg Quinn, a resident and a farmer of his 140 acres land said that his livelihood will be in jeopardy if the proposed plan will be approved, but he is not alone, other residents in the county are also against the proposed power lines plan as it may lower the value of their property and poses health risk to them.

5 proposals have been presented to the residents during the public meeting held by Public Service Commission and most residents are against on these proposals except for putting the power lines underground.

According to an article written by Michael Howard in Time Warner Cable News, the proposal will be selected until 2016.
