A family in Tucson was forced to pay $3,500 to repair the damaged caused by the electric panel. They said that they lost their electricity after one of the employees of Tucson Electric replaced their analog meter to a digital meter.
According to the family, Tucson Electric told them that the problem was not their problem and was advised to look for an electrician to handle the repairs.
In a report on News 4, the homeowner has asked Tucson Electric to be held liable of what has happened.
